more stuff

Layout of Jane.
Circles read "a little bit" because that's what one of her sisters called her when she was first born- instead of Jane Elizabeth, she was Jane Alittlebit and still is.
This is one of my favorite pictures of her.

Cover of Marshell's preganancy scrapbook.

an inside peek.....

MM giant chipboard letters I decorated with the girls, Romy is not here so I made hers, but Emma, Kate and Jane each made their own letter.
They are now hanging in the girl's bathroom above the mirror.

cover of SIL's maternity album. The pages all have the same BG line of paper. It was not "peony" as I thought before. Stella something, I don't know or care that much. The inner pages have room for a picture and some journalling.

How I passed the 5th grade

The ABC book won rave reviews from Zane's teacher. I quote "this is the most creative ABC book I have ever seen, you did so much extra work, I am very impressed! Way to go!"

His final grade on the entire project was 180 points out of a possible 150, he got extra credit for bringing in a snack from Indiana. full credit on everything else.

We won't tell anyone that we only started the project 2 nights before it was due, even though Zane had 2 months to do it.

Starting 2 mini albums today- I was only planning to do one- for Matt's sister, Z who just found out she is prgenant- it's a mini album I am making from a bo-bunny mini album biner with chipboard loose leaf type pages to document her pregnancy- but we got a call yesterday from Matt's borther's wife, Marshell and they are also pregnant- due the day before Z. So I have 2 albums to make, and I am super excited that we will have 2 babies coming and that both couples are having little ones. So far only Matt has brought kids into the family, and now there willbe 2 more siblings with bouncing bundles of baby. Z's album will be with some basic grey papers I bought for the project- The Peony line ( I think) with thr crimsons and greys and blacks and greens, not traditional for a baby thing but it will look cool and a little offbeat bohemian and will suit her. For Shell I will pick a totally different color scheme and style, as she and Z are totally different types of people. I am excited to do the same project in 2 totally different flavors.

does this count?

Nothing on my own as creative but I did work for hours with Zane on his stupid State project hat is due Friday and he started YESTERDAY. Good thing he onlyhad 2 months to work on it.

His state is Indiana, apparently the same state Emma had last year. We had to make a diorama of a big event in that state and hello-- it's Indiana. I have lived there, nothing happens. So we did a diorama of the colts winning the superbowl and it is really pathetic. Ont thing he also had to have was an ABC book with facts and pictured about the fun filled Hoosier state. Zzzz......

So this did take hours and it should still count as something creative. Well, half credit at least.

slow moving soccer finals

I am now treating this like a regulr "guess what we are doing" blog these days, I know. I will do something creative soon. I am going to submit for MMM, although I don't know what I'd do if I made it,lol. But I won't- it will just be some good practice for me and something to get me going. I keep saying that and then I keep blowing it off to smooch with gorgeous Matt.

The theme for MMM this year is "I wish" and I haven't decided how I will do that- I could go super personal and sentimental and see if I can score on the journaling aspect or I can dosomething sill. I want to do that itunes idea I had for CKHOF that I never finished, maybe I'll go bug Parker now about pictures for it.

Anyway--

I have soccer pictures to scrap. Jane barely moves during soccer so I think I will come up with a funny way to showcase that. Included is one of many "still" shots of Jane, who did her best to stand still. It's like Lacrosse only with more piggie tails and baggier uniforms.
She's so stinkin cute. I'm a lucky mom.

Mother's Day

I made this for my mother in law for mother's day using bo bunny papers.
The little boxes are heart shaped paper mache and when you poen them the conatin a handwritten note from the person on the outside to her.
I have the best Mother in Law in the world and
hopefully she will think this is cute.
